Proud Member of the NATIONAL DIAPER BANK NETWORK
Ending Hunger Together
At the Great Plains Food Bank, we feel that if you don’t have money for food you likely won’t have money for diapers. In 2017, we graciously accepted an offer to become a member of the National Diaper Bank Network placing an emphasis
on an often-overlooked items to help our clients. Diapers
are always in high-demand and remain one of the most requested items from our network of partner food pantries, shelters and soup kitchens. The Great Plains Food Bank works hard to secure diaper donations from the industry and public along with making purchases when needed. They are quickly made available to our network partner food pantries.
By focusing on distributing healthier foods, filling gaps in underserved communities and working in new ways with untraditional partners, we’re building opportunities for our neighbors to thrive through a number of different healthcare interventions.
One in three families in the U.S. experiences “diaper need.” The amount of diapers requested by our network of partner food pantries needs to be limited due to such a high demand for the product.

A baby will need between
6-12
diapers in a single day.
57%
Of parents nationally experiencing diaper need that rely on child care said they missed an average of four days of school or work in the last month because they didn’t have diapers.
There are more than
43,922
children under the age of three living in North Dakota.
With your investment in our work, fewer families and single mothers will struggle finding diapers for their children.
Consider hosting a diaper drive for all sizes for children or seniors to help families in need. Visit greatplainsfoodbank.org. Thank you!
