Hunger is a complex issue that doesn’t exist in a vacuum.
If food alone was the answer to ending hunger, we would have done it by now. But we haven’t.
That’s why in 2017 the Great Plains Food Bank launched a new approach to ending hunger – Ending Hunger 2.0.
At the Great Plains Food Bank we have a commitment to end hunger today, tomorrow and for good. And ending Hunger 2.0 creates a platform to enhance our ability to end hunger tomorrow and for good.
Ending Hunger 2.0 allows us to not only continue our core work of feeding people and increasing the food available, but also decrease the need through research, community-based solutions and working with coalitions.
Because it takes more than food to end hunger.
