FARGO, N.D.− The Marathon Oil Company has made a $15,000 donation to the Great Plains Food Bank that will impact kids in the 28 central and western counties of North Dakota.
This gift will support the Great Plains Food Bank’s three childhood hunger programs, which includes the backpack program, youth summer meals and the school pantry program. This donation will be enough for 45,000 meals for children in need.
The Marathon Oil Company has been a prevailing partner in the fight to end hunger having donated more than $40,000 dollars since 2019, which has provided more than 120,000 meals.
Battling childhood hunger remains a top priority for the Great Plains Food Bank as each year it provides needed food assistance to more than 53,000 children.
