FARGO, N.D. — The Kiwanis Club of Fargo Foundation, Inc., has made a $4,000 donation to the Great Plains Food Bank that will help to feed children struggling with food insecurity across North Dakota and Clay County, Minn.
The $4,000 grant will benefit the Great Plains Food Bank School Pantry Program and backpack program and will provide 12,000 meals to feed children in need.
Longstanding partners in the fight to end childhood hunger, the Kiwanis Club of Fargo Foundation has now given $21,000 to the Great Plains Food Bank to help feed kids in need since 2016. That is enough to provide 63,000 meals.
Battling childhood hunger remains a top priority for the Great Plains Food Bank as each year it provides needed food assistance to more than 53,000 children.
