Tobi Morgenstern stopped by the Great Plains Food Bank Mobile Food Pantry at a recent stop in Beulah with her two youngest children. They were there to get food for their family of six they hope will last the next two months. Tobi is a stay-at-home mom who lives with her partner Josh, and together they are raising their four children Jordan (4), Kyleigh (3), Taylor (15) and Kenny (14).
Tobi has used the Mobile Food Pantry four times now since she heard about it from the Right Track Program. It has been especially helpful as Josh has been unable to return to his job as a pipe liner for the past three years due to his battle with cancer. He is now in remission, but having resources like the mobile food pantry removes the added stress of being able to put food on the table.

The Mobile Food Pantry provides not only items for the cupboards, but fresh fruits and vegetables, which are favorite foods for their kids.
“We are grateful for the time and energy it takes,” Tobi said about all who contribute to the Mobile Food Pantry. She is also quick to admit the Mobile Food Pantry has helped the family save what they have to allow an occasional treat like a short stay with her extended family at a hotel with a pool.
She is happy there are resources to help families like hers with added medical expenses that can prohibit extra income.
