Foundation has now provided more than $250,000 to the Great Plains Food Bank since 2000
FARGO, N.D. – Longtime supporters in the fight to end hunger across North Dakota and Clay County, Minn., the Alex Stern Family Foundation has provided a $10,000 grant to the Great Plains Food Bank to benefit its three childhood hunger programs. Since 2000, the Alex Stern Family Foundation has provided more than $250,000 to the Great Plains Food Bank to help feed those in need.
Specifically, the grant will help the Great Plains Food Bank School Pantry Program, BackPack Program and Youth Summer Meals Program.
Each year, more than 40,000 children will turn to the Great Plains Food Bank for help filling their nutritional needs. You can read more about how each of these program help fight childhood hunger HERE.
