FARGO, N.D. – Young leaders and students from more than 50 local schools will fill the floor of the Fargodome on Monday and Tuesday, November 19-20, with food they have collected to help those in need for the 12th annual Fill the Dome. All the food collected along with monetary donations will benefit the Great Plains Food Bank, which provides nearly 12 million meals to hungry children, seniors and families across North Dakota each year.
The community and media members are invited to attend a press conference to celebrate this year’s event beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, on the floor of the Fargodome (1800 North University Drive, Fargo, ND 58102).

The single largest youth-led food drive in the nation, Fill the Dome has collected more than 2.3 million pounds of food and over $553,000 to help those in need since 2007.
Food donations for Fill the Dome can be dropped now until Monday at Waxing the City, Radio Fargo-Moorhead, Old Navy and West Fargo Public Schools. Food donations can also be dropped off at the Fargodome on Monday. Monetary donations can be made at www.ftdome.com.
