Become a Hunger Advocate!
Hunger is a solvable problem. Especially here in North Dakota where we have the nation’s lowest food insecurity rate (8.4%). Traditionally the food bank’s work focused on recovering surplus food that would have otherwise gone to waste and getting it into the hands of those who need it through our network of partner agencies. If food alone was the answer to ending hunger, we would have accomplished it by now. To truly end hunger we must take the next step, to decrease the need which involves all of us working together.
Collectively we have a strong voice. We invite you to lend your voice as a Hunger Advocate. As an Advocate, you’ll receive occasional Action Alerts with information about upcoming votes, key issues and we’ll provide you with details on how to reach out to your elected leaders. Let your voice be heard and take action!
