FARGO, N.D. – The Great Plains Food Bank has elected officers for its Board of Directors. Dave Maring (Maring Law Office) has been elected to serve a second term as board chair, Nancy Johnson (Former North Dakota Representative) has been selected as chair elect, Robin Nelson (CEO, Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley) will serve as secretary and Marti Sunderlin (Hornbacher’s Foods) has been elected treasurer.
“We are very fortunate to have an extremely engaged and talented board of directors which will continue to help us advance our mission of ending hunger under the leadership of these dedicated officers,” Great Plains Food Bank CEO Steve Sellent said. “Our ability to serve more than 94,000 hungry individuals each year requires a strong commitment from everyone involved including our food donors, financial donors, volunteers, staff and certainly our board of directors, who are a truly great asset to the work of the Great Plains Food Bank.”
