FARGO, N.D. – As part of an aggressive campaign to help those needing food assistance, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation has donated $5,000 to the Great Plains Food Bank. The donation is a part of Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Fill Your Tank program, which celebrates the company’s 60th anniversary by providing $60 million over six years in the fight against hunger. The Fill Your Tank program donations made locally are determined by local Enterprise operations.
“Enterprise Rent-A-Car is woven into the fabric of the Fargo community and food insecurity is an issue for our community,” Enterprise Rent-A-Car Area Rental Manager Dan Bowers said. “This donation to the Great Plains Food Bank will support those in our community who need a little help to reach to their full potential.”
“We cannot thank Enterprise enough for this donation and for taking the steps to run their Fill Your Tank program,” Great Plains Food Bank Chief Executive Officer Steve Sellent said. “With this donation we will be able to supply 20,000 meals for those seeking help in our food pantries, shelters and soup kitchens across North Dakota and Clay County, Minn. It is with donations like these we will continue to close the hunger gap.”
In addition to the Fill Your Tank program, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is engaging in a hunger and local engagement campaign to further their impact.
