Great Plains Food Bank promotes two and hires two
Jesse White has been promoted to Volunteer Coordinator by the Great Plains Food Bank, a program of Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota. He will be responsible for volunteer coordination for events and activities. White is a graduate of MSUM where he was involved in multiple activities. He was the Food Pantry Coordinator at Dorothy Day Food Pantry before joining the Great Plains Food Bank.
Cierra Anderson has been promoted to Child Nutrition Coordinator by the Great Plains Food Bank. She will be coordinating the Backpack Program and all childhood hunger centered initiatives. Anderson has a BS in Psychology & Dietetics and is currently completing her Dietetic Internship through Utah State University.
Jessica Arneson has been hired by the Great Plains Food Bank as the Agency Relations Manager. She will be working with all partner agencies throughout North Dakota and Clay County, Minnesota. Arneson is a licensed social worker with a focus on community organizations and social policy. She has many years of grass-roots hunger advocacy and community partnership experience.
Kim Bakken has also joined the Great Plains Food Bank as an Inventory Clerk / Office Coordinator. She attended Minnesota State Community Technical College and was previously employed by Boppa’s Bagels.
